Holiday home Lalapalm is a typical African safari house, 20 by 12 meters and 9 meters high set in a total area of 1100 square meters. The house has a overhanging grass roof, a veranda which covers the whole width of the house and stairs which lead to the garden. Lalapalm is ideally suited for two families with children. Ground floor

The living room. The large 65 m² attractive living room with a big corner sofa, coffee table, cupboard, desk, a TV satellite, a dvd/cd-player and a dining table seating ten, has got folding doors lead out onto the veranda.

The veranda. The veranda has got a dining table for ten, luxurious sofas, arm chairs and side tables. It offers a view over the Estate and the fish ponds. The terrace is accessible via the veranda and has got four reclining chairs.

The kitchen. The semi-open kitchen, with an adjacent utility room, has a breakfast bar with eight high stools. It is fully equipped with a cooking plate and oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster and more.

Bedrooms. The master bedroom has got a double bed with side tables, radio alarm and dressing table. The adjacent dressing room has a hair dryer, a mirror and a safe. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath, a separate shower, a toilet and a basin. It also has an private veranda with an outside shower, accessible via a separate door. The second bedroom contains twin beds, built-in cupboards, side tables, radio alarm, a safe, hair dryer and a mirror. There is an en suite bathroom with a reclining bath, separate shower, toilet and basin.

Top floor

Bedroom and living room. This extensive area contains twinbeds with side tables, cupboards, plus a sofa with side tables, TV satellite and a dvd/cd-player.

Bedroom. This is a large bedroom which can sleep up to four people. There are two sets of twin beds (each set next to each other), side tables, cupboards and a dressing table.

Bathroom with shower, a toilet and a basin.

General information

Lalapalm has got a telephone and wireless internet.
The house has its own braai (an African barbeque).
There is air-conditioning in the living room as well as in all of the bedrooms.
Lalapalm has its own driveway with a remote control for the gate.
There is a covered parking area for two cars.

The Sefapane Lodge has many facilities and Lalapalm visitors have free use of the swimming pools including the tropical swimming pool with sunken bar. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the superb à la carte restaurant, which offers good food at good prices. The Lodge also offers guests an array of indulgent, holistic body and beauty treatments utilising some of the natural resources of the area and products derived from genuine South African plants and herbs. Children can also find enough to amuse themselves including a swimming pool with climbing equipment. There is also a children's day care centre (please arrange in advance of your stay) and pet care centre.
